And He said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
2 Corinthians 12:9

Thursday Praises

First, thank you for your quick prayers earlier today.  There was a lack of communication today between the docs and us.  After our time with the Neuro yesterday, and even after sharing with the resident this morning, our thoughts regarding Princess' treatment and the discussion with the Neuro, it was as if none of that had ever been conveyed and so we were very surprised when the docs came in to discharge Princess.  To our knowledge, everything is back on the books and we are taking one day at a time.

Now the praises!  Princess had another good day today!  Praise the Lord!

So based upon today's response and even having the opportunity to walk the hospital floor a bit, we are going to move forward and do PLEX tomorrow for the 6th exchange.  Lord willing, all will go smoothly tomorrow and we will have another great day! It was great for Princess to be able to finally get up and move around and see something other than her hospital room.  We were also blessed with visitors today- Princess' Aunt L and Uncle B, along with one of our new friends- one of the ICU's nurses from last week and her husband.

With all that we have been through, I really feel like the Lord has stamped this trip with a constant reminder of prayer.  Princess and I have done more praying with each other then what I can recall in our 10 years of marriage, but I also am just blown away by each friend that has come up here that after we finish our visit there has been prayer!  God is so good and praise to Him for the time of prayer that we have had.  Praise to HIM that we never have to walk alone!

Please pray specifically:
  • Communication between us and the team, us and the Neuro
  • A smooth procedure tomorrow as things were somewhat thrown off today and some of the schedules for lab work and the PLEX procedure were thrown off
  • No Seizures for Princess tomorrow
  • Princess' blood levels to rock!  Fibrinogen to be extremely high!
  • Princess' heart to slow down as it is still extremely elevated.
Thank y'all so much! We'll look forward to updating tomorrow!
