And He said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
2 Corinthians 12:9

My Hero!!

Today was a rough day because most of it was spent on the phone with insurance companies...as many of you know, the phone, reading, & writing are all triggers for my seizures.  In less than 24 hours, I had six seizures. Grrrrr....However, we've been fighting this insurance battle for a few weeks and they keep requiring me to read to them; thus, a huge increase in seizures.  I've been averaging close to 2-3 seizures per day and this was starting out as one of my best months ever.  However, having to be on the phone, reading, etc., with these insurance companies sent me into a state of uncontrolled seizures.  In just seven days, I had 38 seizures.  There have been months where I have had close to that many, but in seven days has me exhausted.

First, B is my hero because while I was on the phone with my benefits center, insurance company, etc., B jumped in to action and spoke with my HR dpmt. and got most everything squared away.  When I explained what he was telling me through IM, they all of a sudden stopped and said they would have to update their system.  So, it means the world to me to know that my man is fighting for me!!!

Second, I didn't get to do all my grocery trips because we had a funeral to attend yesterday.  So, once I got off the phone with insurance C took us to the store.  On the way home, B told me that he had a surprise for me.

Here it is:

Yes, that's a snake.  When he got home and was unloading his truck, he noticed something moving.  He was able to get to his rake and shovel in enough time to keep all of us safe!  Thank you, honey, for being my hero!!!!!!

p.s.  Miss P loved it and thought it was so fun!
