And He said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
2 Corinthians 12:9

Prayers

Please continue to pray for Princess.  While she has had mix of good days and bad days, the last couple have been daunting.  Princess had 7 seizures yesterday and while she has not had any seizures today, she is feeling "stuck in it" as if she is sitting in a seizure or at least on the verge of having one.  Additionally, we had to basically "double-up" on her rescue medication yesterday and are experiencing the effects of this medication which makes things very challenging.

Pray for Princess': Healing, Mental and Physical Strength for TODAY, Peace, God's strength, protection for her and Critter

PS- We'll update soon and as well, a very long and overdue thank you!

UP From the grave HE AROSE....

As far back as I can remember, I was always awoken with this title's familiar tune.  Now that I have my own family I get the awesome privilege of passing this amazing truth and reality to another generation.  Truly, historical fact and evidence boldly points to a meaningful truth:

1) A man, named Jesus, born of a virgin named Mary, was God in the form of man.
2) His short-lived ministry that covered a span of 3 years, has had an impact for generations over thousands of years and it continues today.
3) Jesus was scorned, beaten, and died a public and cruel death at the hands of those that He loved- He died on a cross.
4) Jesus was then taken down from the cross, buried in a tomb.
5) Three days later, the tomb was found empty!  Jesus Christ has risen from the dead!  He appeared to many and now sits at the right hand of God!

Up from the grave HE AROSE!!!

So what is Easter all about?  It is not about a bunny, plastic grass, plastic eggs, and candy.  Rather or even better, it is about celebrating this miraculous event that Jesus conquered death.  The tomb that He was buried in was found empty.  You see, being a Christian is not about going to church or doing good things.  Certainly, doing these things are nice and important, but better, being a Christian is about realizing and believing what Christ did for you and me.

God in His perfect righteousness is Holy.  Something you and I can never do as hard as we try.  WE WILL NEVER BE PERFECT when placed next to God's standard.  Yet Jesus, as a sacrifice, was nailed to the cross, all of my sin and yours was placed on Him and because of this God credited to us righteousness .  Because of His death and more importantly His resurrection, forgiveness and salvation are freely given to ALL who believe.  Jesus said:  "I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father, but by Me."

So join us as we celebrate the impossible!  Have an incredible Easter!

Please pray for Princess:  Yesterday she had 9 seizures!  Today, she is feeling off, understandably, but stills feels like she is experiencing seizures despite multiple doses of her rescue medication.  And yet we rejoice as well because over the last 14 days she experienced only 8 seizures.  The journey is hard, yet with Christ, we have great joy knowing that each day is not about a seizure, but rather walking with Christ and leaning on His strength and power.  In our weakness and suffering we lean and trust on Him.

The GRANDest of Parents

Miss P has the best grandparents.

Gamma comes over to visit.  Do you see it?

Yes, they are dressed the same...not planned at all!!!
Then, today, Miss P got a package in the mail from Mimi & Pa.  It was Resurrection Eggs.  So, Daddy hid the first egg tonight.

Miss P found the egg!!

Seeee!!

It had a donkey in it and we got to learn how kings and high ranking officials rode donkeys while everyone else walked.

Then, we learned that Jesus got to ride in on a donkey...the King of Kings!!!

Thank you, Jesus for such great Grandparents!!!!  We love you!
