And He said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

Aggieland Part 1

In August we went to Aggieland!!  We wanted Miss C to get to experience "home!"

B was meeting with a prospect one day and a gentleman walked in and asked him if he was an Aggie!!!  When he found out that he was, he took him in to his office and showed B an old box camera.  Clearly I'm not a professional photographer and don't know what it's really called.  Anyway, beautiful old camera, accordion style, etc.  Turns out that this camera was the camera used to take pictures of each outfit in the Corps from 1922-1984!!!!  The gentleman that owned the camera said that he received it when one of the photography studios in College Station had to close.  He said that he always felt it belonged to the University and he wanted to get it back to it's home!  So, B made a few calls and we were on our way to Aggieland...

Miss P was excited about the trip!!
Ahhh, Aggieland!!!

Though she's had Freebird's many times here, it's just better in College Station!

So, this gentleman's one "requirement" was that he could give an oral history of the camera so that all could understand it's significance to the University!  We were all able to go to the Corps Center and be there for a good portion of the video!

P even got to sit in on some of the taping of the video!!!
This is B with the generous man that gave back to Texas A&M a special piece of their history!!!
