And He said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
2 Corinthians 12:9

David Matthew Hood

Wow!

On Monday, we had the opportunity to attend one of the most beautiful Memorial Services Ever!

I could tell you all about it, but that would be boring.  So, you can watch this video.  The church recorded the service and it's so worth your time to watch it.  Due to copyright stuff the praise and worship isn't included, but there was amazing P&W!!!

As well, the pastor made a great point about heaven and angels.  Thus, my statement about Heaven having a new angel is incorrect.  However, his description is so cool (it's around the 40min mark)!!!

Next, is a video slide show about David.  Have your kleenex ready!!!

Rejoice that David is with our Savior!!!!

Once you watch this, if you want to give back to the family, you can let me know and I'll connect you or here is a post from a friend about how to give back to the family:

David touched so many lives in the four years he was with us. Therefore, it’s no surprise that many people have asked what they can do to honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, cards, food, etc., Justin and Jennifer have asked that his loved ones continue David’s legacy of changing lives.

Amazing Little Hearts, a Dallas-based congenital heart defect support group, is partnering with a fellow Dallas heart mom, best known as the “Heart Fairy,” to raise funds for the creation of the David Hood Infant Resuscitation Learning Lab. The lab, which will be built at Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas, will provide doctors and nurses from all over the DFW area an opportunity to learn, rehearse, and simulate the best and most effective ways to resuscitate an infant or child in cardiac arrest. This specialized training will help to ensure that fewer lives are lost in area hospitals.

Your generous donation will impact families by offering hope and encouragement for the future, the way David’s smile did for anyone who met him.

Donations can be directed to Amazing Little Hearts in one of two ways:

Checks made payable to “Amazing Little Hearts CHD Support Group” can be mailed to 1314 W. McDermott Suite 106 #818 - Allen, TX 75013. Please include “David Hood memorial” on the Notes line.

You may also send a donation via PayPal to amazinglittlehearts@yahoo.com. Select "I'm sending money to family or friends.” (Please note: There is a small fee for using a credit/debit card.) Again, please include “David Hood memorial” in the Notes section.
