We had a good night for the most part and were surprised to find out this morning that Princess' fibrinogen levels were not quite as we expected. We had anticipated them being much higher than what was actually recorded. Hopefully, this won't be a setback for the timing in removing the Quinton catheter and going home.
As for the rest of the day, Princess will rest and recoup from today's procedure, the doctors will redraw her fibrinogen levels later this afternoon. If the fibrinogen levels are greater than or equal to 100, we'll remove the Quinton. Otherwise, it would be removed tomorrow and then we'll still need to allow a few hours of monitoring before going home.
Prayer Requests:
- Patience from the Doctors in the discharge process. We don't want them to be rushed in removing the Quinton and send Princess home too soon
- That Princess' fibrinogen levels at the check this afternoon would be 100 or greater
- Patience for us as we see getting home a reality. What a long month!
- NO MORE SEIZURES
