As far as the Quinton catheter removal....Unfortunately, the labs that were drawn at 4:00 PM did not have the number we needed for the fibrinogen levels; therefore, it would not be safe to remove the central line. Additionally, the doc did elect to put the EEG back on to monitor overnight to see if there was any difference in activity since we began the PLEX procedures. Thus, the gameplan for tomorrow will to recheck the fibrinogen levels sometime around 6 AM. Assuming the levels are high enough, we'll have the Quinton removed, monitor for a few hours, remove the EEG, and head home!
Thank you ALL for your continued support along this journey. We cannot begin to tell you how awesome your prayers have been and how they have encouraged us along the way. Please pray for continued healing and restoration.
Enjoy the pics below. We couldn't resist one more shot of the catheter!
Surprise!!! Our lil' Critter came to the hospital today! She got to walk with Mommy and Daddy on the floor! We absolutely cannot wait to be home with her! It was so fun getting to be a family this afternoon. She even got to meet Mommy's doctor!
