Praise the Lord, we have just about a half hour remaining in the day and Princess has not had seizure! Praise the Lord! Overall, today has been good physically and Princess has tolerated two exchanges this week with number three coming in the morning, if all her lab values come back in range. Your prayers have been effective and the Lord has provided answers. Here are just a few more examples:
- Princess' blood pressure has continued to remain elevated and closer to textbook normal. This is seen as a positive because during the exchange process they want to make sure the pressure stays high. Additionally, this elevated blood pressure is not normal to Princess on a daily basis; therefore, how cool that she is doing so great!
- Princess has made it through two exchanges with very little problems
- Today has been the first day in two weeks where she has not had a seizure.
- God has faithfully and financially provided for us, as we are going on nearly three weeks in the hospital.
So again, thank you for your prayers.
Tomorrow, we do PLEX number three. Please continue to pray Princess through this process. Her heart rate has been even more elevated than normal and we need it stable for PLEX. We go into tomorrow especially prayerful as Princess will most likely have to have a transfusion of plasma as her blood levels appear to be dipping below what the pathologists feel is a comfortable margin. If this is the case, please pray that her body will receive the blood product with no problems or reactions. Additionally, while it might be too early to really tell if this treatment is working, it was shared that after exchanges three and four, some folks with an auto-immune disorder will begin to see some improvement or change in their condition! Wouldn't this be so cool? The docs don't believe this will be permanent and want to start her on two years of chemo when she is finished with PLEX. So, we are praying God will choose otherwise.

Also, please pray for our communication with everyone involved. Today was stressful as it seems there is an overall lack of communication between all the teams and parties involved in Princess' care. Due to the teaching nature of the hospital, the fact that we are in the ICU, and that Princess' case is so rare, we have a lot of folks involved and yet there were quite a few instances where it was very frustrating as it seemed the left hand was not communicating with the right hand. So please pray for our patience. Please pray for the doctors involved and for just an overall tone of concern and care that could be stressed. Pray that everyone will be on the same page.
Pray for our physical strength. Pray for Princess' physical strength. We are still focused on the Lord healing Princess and Lord willing, PLEX providing for a permanent cure, rather than a temporary solution.
PS- Gig 'em and enjoy watching football tomorrow at 2:30 PM CST.
